ABOUT THE STUDY
The Study began as an idea, sparking exploration of the culinary legacies passed on by those who cooked before us. Every Chef, Server, and Bartender holds within them a unique history of food and the personal stories which reflect their heritage; the traditions, tastes, and techniques enriching every bite and savored sip. Each “class” has presented a theme of unique dishes, creative cocktails, and cultural traditions explored through a coursed menu masterfully prepared in front of small groups. Traditionally, our lower level is transformed into a test kitchen and creative studio to explore and share these diverse stories of hospitality with you.
NEW FOR 2025:
As we grow and evolve, so does The Study. While we continue to share cherished traditions and hand-crafted meals, our intention is to expand our inclusive space to share the joy of learning and exploration with our community.
SHOP CLASS:
We invite you to join us for fun workshops where you create alongside the chefs, learning tried and true cooking techniques from a variety of cultures. Following the workshop hour, you’ll sit with your class to enjoy a meal focused around the lesson of the day! We’re also planning kid-friendly family classes and meals!
STUDY HALL:
Curated a la carte Pop-Ups exploring facets and combinations of our culinary heritage. Hosted by one of Heritage’s chefs or a featured guest and explored as a special one-night event. This concept had its inaugural showing during Mardi Gras 2025 with chef Guy’s award-winning cajun and creole cooking and will continue onward with a delicious variety of tastes and cultures!
A.P. CLASS:
Our multi-course hosted dinners return! Our highest level of The Study, centered around - and showcasing - a particular culinary item, concept, wine, or spirit. These curated events are hosted by local and international guests from the culinary and beverage worlds, guiding the evening with their insight and knowledge!
